Another year, another chapter of Out of Eden. We’re going to work shoulder to shoulder with highschools from the US (from California, Illiniois, Rhode Island), Canada (Ontario and Terranova), Singapore and Australia as we follow the footsteps of journalist Paul Salope’s through, in this case Central Asia. The walk will take us from the Caspian Sea to Pakistan, through Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan and Tajikistan.
This project, sponsored by Harvard University and National Geographic will teach students about the world, humanity and, of course, English by the use of realia (real media). It will be hard work for some weeks but we’ll succeed. I mean, walking is in our DNA.
We’ll update our progress every once in a while. We’re currently in Ganish, Pakistan.
