Last Tuesday, October 22, the 4th grade ESO students studying the subject Cinema visited the ESCAC (Escola d’audiovisuals de Catalunya) facilities. In order to collect our impressions we wrote our opinion on a padlet that we have shared.
Our guide was Manel, he was attentive at all times to any doubts we might have and was interested in our cinematographic tastes. The ESCAC facilities are impressive, we visited several sets, the workshops where they build the sets, the color laboratory and the recording room.
We learned a lot about the film production process, from pre-production to post-production. We were amazed how they take care of every detail from the lighting to the direction and how many people cooperate as a team. It was very interesting to see all the work behind the cameras. We got to see how the students worked on their projects, the passion and creativity they put into was contagious. They explained what they were doing and were very attentive to us.
We had a great time and it was a very fun experience since that whole world of cinema caught our attention a lot.
