In our school we are always open to host teachers and students from Europe. We really think it is an opportunity to share and learn with and from others. Recently we have hosted teachers from Czech Republic and Italy. They together with Lithuanian teachers could observe how we work and how we organise our activities at school, but also the relationship with families, townhall representatives, businesses in town, institutions, etc.
For some days they participated in our classes and they also joined the activities we organised outside school timetable. We consider it necessary to achieve objectives, to learn and know more about us and our culture, together with the learning on how to be open to the community. Sharing is always essential to grow as citizens and to teach about it to our students so that they can improve in the future and be part of society and community of Europe.
The teachers could also be part of our team by participating in the Cultural Days we organise once a year. They could observe how all the school works together, how all students enjoy learning about a topic that is the same from I3 to 4th ESO.
One interesting fact: they could try la CLOTXA!
