We don’t want to pay for compost. We want students to bring their kitchen and garden leftovers to school and get free compost
Here are some ideas:
1. Put to compost hip at the main entrance
2. Collect organic leftovers at playtime
The bird house is in the orchard of the school.
It is a house for the birds. For coming and eating, but birds are scared because they think that people will to hurt them.
We put cereals and nuts for them.
The first day the students learn the tools.we learned :

Today we went to the computer classroom to write a comment in the garden web and we made a challenge.
To finish we went to water the plants
The elf Eredhiel helps in the vegetable garden.
She’s a hundred years old.
She lives in the vegetable garden.
She loves? observing plants and animals.
She likes Reading? too.
Follet Verd is her cousin. He speaks Elf and Catalan, and she can speak Elf and English!
We use tools to plant and water our vegetables in the garden.
To water we use:
Canals: it transports the water
watering cans: they are green, big and small, and we water the herbs and flowers
pipes: they are long
We have flowers because they atract bees, and because they are beautiful too.
They smell well and they have beautiful colours.
Bees are necessary to make honey and most important: they help plants reproduce.
The compost hip is next to the orchard in Pati del Silenci.
In the hip we put fruit and vegetable peelings and eggshells, from the kitchen, and plants, grass clippings ,and leaves and branches, from the garden.
Worms transform leftovers into compost.
