Els mestres de l’escola Pinetons de la Garriga, Toni García i Mireia Valls, han tingut l’oportunitat de participar en el programa d’intercanvi Erasmus per a mestres, un projecte que facilita als docents conèixer nous models educatius i compartir experiències amb professionals d’altres països. En aquesta edició, el programa els ha portat a Finlàndia, un país amb un sistema educatiu reconegut mundialment per la seva innovació i qualitat.
Durant la seva estada, els mestres han assistit a un curs de formació enfocat a conèixer el sistema educatiu finlandès i entendre els principis de la metodologia STEAM (Ciència, Tecnologia, Enginyeria, Arts i Matemàtiques). Aquesta formació els ha permès comprendre com el sistema educatiu finlandès promou un aprenentatge personalitzat, basat en la confiança i la flexibilitat, i com la integració de les disciplines STEAM facilita una educació interdisciplinària que fomenta la creativitat i la resolució de problemes.
A més de la formació teòrica, Toni i Mireia han tingut l’oportunitat de visitar diverses escoles per veure com es treballa el sistema educatiu a la pràctica. El dimecres 5 de febrer, van visitar l’escola de secundària OSYC, on van poder observar els mètodes de treball aplicats en les assignatures de secundària. El dijous 6 de febrer, van visitar l’escola de primària Rajakylä, on van veure com es duu a terme l’aprenentatge a través de la metodologia STEAM en un entorn educatiu dinàmic. Finalment, el divendres 7 de febrer, van visitar l’escola de primària Hintta, on van poder veure una altra manera d’aplicar aquestes metodologies i compartir pràctiques amb els mestres locals.
En aquestes visites, els mestres de la Garriga van poder explorar els espais educatius i observar de prop les activitats que es duen a terme a les aules, així com intercanviar pràctiques educatives amb els docents finlandesos. Van quedar impressionats per la manera en què les escoles finlandeses integren la tecnologia i fomenten la participació activa dels alumnes en el seu aprenentatge. A més, van poder portar algunes de les pràctiques observades a les aules de les escoles visitades i compartir-les amb els seus companys a l’escola Pinetons.
Aquesta experiència els ha permès conèixer noves eines i tècniques que podran aplicar a les seves aules i ajudarà a enriquir la tasca educativa de l’escola. Toni i Mireia han destacat la importància de l’intercanvi de coneixements entre mestres, que els permet continuar millorant les seves metodologies i adaptar-les a les necessitats dels seus alumnes.
Els mestres de l’escola Pinetons han agraït aquesta oportunitat d’aprendre d’un dels sistemes educatius més avançats del món, i estan segurs que aquesta experiència enriquirà la seva feina diària i contribuirà a continuar millorant l’educació dels alumnes. Amb aquesta formació, Toni i Mireia podran ajudar a implementar noves pràctiques que afavoreixin un aprenentatge més interactiu, creatiu i interdisciplinari a la seva escola.

The teachers from Pinetons School in La Garriga, Toni García and Mireia Valls, have had the opportunity to participate in the Erasmus exchange program for teachers, a project that allows educators to learn about new educational models and share experiences with professionals from other countries. In this edition, the program took them to Finland, a country with an education system recognized worldwide for its innovation and quality.
During their stay, the teachers attended a training course focused on learning about the Finnish education system and understanding the principles of the STEAM methodology (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). This training allowed them to understand how the Finnish education system promotes personalized learning, based on trust and flexibility, and how the integration of STEAM disciplines facilitates interdisciplinary education that fosters creativity and problem-solving.
In addition to the theoretical training, Toni and Mireia had the opportunity to visit several schools to see how the education system works in practice. On Wednesday, February 5, they visited the OSYC secondary school, where they were able to observe the teaching methods applied in secondary school subjects. On Thursday, February 6, they visited the Rajakylä primary school, where they saw how learning is carried out through the STEAM methodology in a dynamic educational environment. Finally, on Friday, February 7, they visited the Hintta primary school, where they observed another way of applying these methodologies and exchanged practices with the local teachers.
During these visits, the teachers from La Garriga had the chance to explore educational spaces and closely observe the activities carried out in the classrooms, as well as exchange educational practices with Finnish teachers. They were impressed by how Finnish schools integrate technology and encourage active student participation in their learning. Furthermore, they were able to bring some of the practices they observed in the visited schools back to their classrooms and share them with their colleagues at Pinetons School.
This experience has allowed them to discover new tools and techniques that they can apply in their classrooms, enriching the educational work at their school. Toni and Mireia emphasized the importance of knowledge exchange between teachers, which allows them to continuously improve their methodologies and adapt them to the needs of their students.
The teachers from Pinetons School are grateful for the opportunity to learn from one of the most advanced education systems in the world, and they are confident that this experience will enrich their daily work and contribute to improving the education of their students. With this training, Toni and Mireia will be able to help implement new practices that promote more interactive, creative, and interdisciplinary learning at their school.
