Primary Students Enjoy a Theatre Experience!

Last week, our primary students had the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful theatre play at the pavilion, performed by the theatre company Jumping Ducks. The play was based on the classic tale The Snow Queen by Hans Christian Andersen, but with a modern twist that made everyone reflect on the importance of protecting our planet.

The story follows two best friends, Ann and Kay, who do everything together. One day, Kay gets a piece of a cursed mirror in his eye and heart, and suddenly everything beautiful seems ugly to him, and everything fun becomes boring. Ann is very worried and decides to go on a journey to help her friend.

With the help of Ann’s grandmother, they search for the Snow Queen, the only one who can break the curse. But they must hurry! The Snow Queen’s kingdom is melting due to climate change.

During their adventure, Ann and Kay travel through the four seasons, meet animals, see beautiful flowers, and learn how climate change is affecting nature all around the world. The play encouraged our students to think about what we can all do to stop global warming and pollution.

It was an exciting and inspiring experience that mixed adventure, friendship, and an important message for our future. A big thank you to Jumping Ducks for this fantastic performance!
