A FORTNIGHT FULL OF ONLINE MEETINGS

Do you want to know what we have been doing as far as the “Cultural Exchange” eTwinning Project is concerned?

Voleu saber què hem estat fent referent al projecte eTwinning “Cultural Exchange?

During a fortnight, in the English classes, the desired online meetings to know us took place.

Durant dues setmanes, a les classes d’anglès, van tenir lloc les esperades videoconferències.

Pupils in the Coral’s classroom could meet pupils in Zakladná Skola and in Fevzipaşa Ilkokulu, the Slovak and one of the Turkish schools.

Pupils in the Invasive Species only could meet with students in Zakladná Skola, the Slovak school. Due to a Snowstorm in Turkey, classes were canceled in Fevzipaşa Ilkokulu and so, also our meeting. But we will meet very soon again.

L’alumnat de la classe del Corall es va poder trobar amb l’alumnat de l’escola eslovaca de Zakladná i la turca de Fevzipaşa.

L’alumnat de la classe de les Espècies Invasores només es va poder trobar amb l’alumnat de l’escola eslovaca Zakladná. Degut a una tempesta de neu a Turquia, les classes es van cancel·lar a l’escola  Fevzipaşa i per tant, també la nostra reunió. Però aviat ens retrobarem.

Meeting on line was a really enjoying, exciting and rewarding  experience for all of us; not only because it was the first time that we could see us face-to-face (even though there was a screen in between), talk and know a bit more of all of us, but also because we could exchange some language into our mother tongues and hear how they sounded.

Trobar-nos en línia va ser una experiència, divertida, emocionant i gratificant per tots nosaltres; no només perquè era la primera vegada que ens podiem veure cara a cara (tot i tenir una pantalla pel mig), parlar i saber una mica més sobre nosaltres, sinó també perquè vam poder intercanviar unes quantes paraules de les nostres llengües maternes i escoltar com sonaven.

It is a pity that during this term we cannot arrange any meeting with Alkasan’s School, also in Turkey. Our timetables are not compatible, but we will try it again on the last term. Fingers crossed!

És una llàstima que durant aquest trimestre tampoc ens puguem trobar amb l’escola Alkasan, també a Turquia. Els nostres horaris són incompatibles, però ho tornarem a intentar en el darrer trimestre. Creuem els dits!

And… what is next in the Project?

During this week we have become noteworthy chefs and cooks and we are working hard with the cooking workshop. Sharing our cusine also enhaces our cultural knowledge.

Durant aquesta setmana hem esdevingut importants xefs i cuiners/es  i estem treballant molt amb el taller de cuina. Compartint la nostra cuina també enforteix el nostre coneixement cultural.

Pretty soon you will be able to watch the videos with the Turkish, the Slovak and the Catalan typical recipes.

Molt aviat podreu veure els vídeos amb les receptes típiques turques, eslovaques i catalanes.
