Last Tuesday, the 14th of February, it was Valentine’s Day, a very important day for the celebration of love in the English-speaking world. In our language classes, we had a special lesson about its origins, and we learned some vocabulary related to the topic. We also discussed the implications of this day: is Valentine’s Day only for lovers? Is it losing its original meaning because of consumerism?

We had so much fun! And one thing is for sure: we LOVE English.
