Last week, Y6 students from ZER l’Eral and ZER l’Oliver went to Robledo de Fenar (León) to carry out a language immersion project. There, our students had the opportunity to meet students from another school of Sevilla “El Carambolo”.

Teachers did this project at the end of the last school year in order to give students the opportunity to learn English living together for a week in an environment where English is spoken throughout the day.

Thanks to these days, students have learnt to live without parents, promoting their independence, teamwork and fostering growth.

It has been a superb experience where laughter, mutual understanding and different memorable moments have appeared constantly. Furthermore, this project allows our students to travel around the world and around Spain.

TRANSLATION

La setmana passada els alumnes de 6è de la Zer l’Eral i de la Zer l’Oliver van anar a Robledo de Fenar (León) a realitzar un projecte d’immersió lingüística. Allí, els nostres alumnes van tenir l’oportunitat de conèixer altres alumnes d’una altra escola de Sevilla “El Carambolo”.

Vam presentar aquest projecte a finals del curs passat per tal de donar l’oportunitat als nostres alumnes d’aprendre anglès convivint durant una setmana en un ambient on es parla anglès durant tot el dia. 

Gràcies a aquests dies, els alumnes han après a viure sense els seus pares, fomentant la seva independència, el treball en grup i el seu creixement. 

Ha estat una experiència increïble on els somriures, la complicitat i diferents moments memorables han estat presents en tot moment. A més, aquest projecte ha permès al nostre alumnat viatjar al voltant del món i d’Espanya.
