Last July I had the chance to travel to Bologna, Italy, for an Erasmus+ training course called “Teaching Languages in the Digital Era: the Best Apps, AI Tools and ICT Solutions for Learning Languages.”
For a whole week, I was learning alongside teachers from different parts of Europe. It was wonderful to share experiences, compare our classrooms, and discover how each of us is using technology in language learning. These exchanges were, without doubt, one of the highlights of the course.
The training gave me useful tools and ideas, although I was hoping for a bit more depth in some areas. Still, what I take away most is the connection with colleagues, the chance to see things from new perspectives, and the motivation to keep exploring how digital innovation can support our students’ learning.
I am very grateful for this opportunity and excited to bring some of these fresh ideas into our classes. Bologna also added its charm to the experience — a beautiful city full of history, good food, and inspiring atmosphere.
