Del 18 al 24 de març, l’institut va rebre la visita dels nostres socis txecs d’Erasmus+. El 18 de març, tres professores i 15 alumnes de Brno (Txèquia) van arribar a Santpedor a la tarda per començar una setmana que mai no oblidaran. Van agafar un tren de Brno a Viena, després un vol a Barcelona i un tren a Manresa. Allí els esperaven totes les famílies per donar-los una calorosa benvinguda.
L’endemà, el 19 de març, els alumnes van visitar l’institut guiats pels nostres estudiants; també van participar en activitats per trencar el gel amb els seus companys i van degustar menjar tradicional. Després del descans, tres dels nostres professors van preparar un taller per treballar diferents habilitats i ajudar tots els alumnes a conèixer-se. Els tallers van ser: “Mirades amb els dits”, “Robòtica” i “Respira amb l’ànima”.
El 20 de març, els alumnes Erasmus van tenir l’oportunitat d’assistir al taller “Comunicació total i llengua de signes”, realitzat per CASMACS (associació de persones sordes de Manresa). Van aprendre a comunicar-se amb signes i com n’és d’important la comunicació per a totes les persones, també per a aquelles amb discapacitat. Al final del taller, en petits grups, es van poder intentar comunicar amb persones sordes que van venir especialment per al taller. Va ser una gran experiència per a tothom. Aquell mateix dia, després del descans, els alumnes havien preparat jocs per fer participar els seus amics internacionals i fins i tot van ballar sardanes i bastons. Va ser molt divertit i van gaudir molt.
El 21 de març tot el grup va anar a Barcelona. La primera parada va ser a prop de la platja, però el temps no era bo i hi havia bandera vermella. Després vam anar a visitar la Sagrada Família, vam pujar per les Rambles i vam visitar el Barri Gòtic. Després de dinar, vam visitar la Casa Batlló per dins, que ens va impressionar molt. Finalment, vam tornar a casa. Al vespre, vam poder veure i participar fent castells amb la colla castellera de Santpedor.
Durant el cap de setmana, tots els estudiants van viure amb les famílies d’acollida i van gaudir del temps junts. L’últim dia va ser el 24 de març i els estudiants internacionals van assistir a classe amb els companys durant la primera hora. Després van anar a l’ajuntament per la recepció de l’alcalde. Aquesta va ser la seva última experiència a Santpedor abans d’emprendre el viatge de tornada a Brno.
From March 18th to 24th, our school received the visit of our Czech Erasmus+ partners. On March 18th, three teachers and 15 students from Brno (Czechia) arrived at Santpedor in the evening to start a week which they will never forget. They got a train from Brno to Vienna, then a flight to Barcelona and a train to Manresa. There all the families waited to give them a very warm welcome.
The following day, March 19th, students did a school tour guided by our students; they also participated in ice-breaking activities with their partners and tasted traditional food. After the break, three of our teachers prepared a workshop to work on different skills and to help all students to know about each other. The workshops were: “Looks with fingers”, “Robotics” and “Breath with Your Soul”.
On March 20th, Erasmus students had the opportunity to attend a workshop about Total communication and Sign Language, which was carried out by CASMCACS (Deaf people association of Manresa). They learned how to communicate with signs and how important was communication for all people- for those with disabilities too. At the end of the workshop, in small groups, they could try to communicate with deaf people who came especially for the workshop. It was a great experience for everyone. That same day, after the break, students had prepared games to engage their international friends and they even danced sardanes and bastons. It was very funny and they enjoyed it a lot.
On March 21st, all the group went to Barcelona. The first stop was near the beach but the weather was not good and there was a red flag. Then, we went to visit Sagrada Familia and walked up les Rambles and visited the Gothic quarter. After having lunch, we visited Casa Batlló inside, which really impressed us. Finally, we returned home. In the evening, we were able to see and participate in the human towers with the Santpedor castells group.
At the weekend, all students lived with their hosting families and enjoyed time together. Last day was March 24th and the international students attended class with their partners for the first hour. Then they went to the town hall and were welcomed by the mayor. That was their last experience in Santpedor before starting their trip back to Brno.
