Games in the English class

To finish the school year, Ruth, the language assistant, brought some games to play and practise speaking skills. 4th graders have written the instructions to play the games:

This is a Bingo game. In this game a person says loudly an object, and the other people who have the object draw a cross on the object that is said loudly because everybody except the person who says the word loudly has a different board. The winner is the person who does the cross in everything.

This is a fishing game. In this game you try to fish faster than the opponents. The teacher says what you need to get. If he/she says “crab”, the person who fishes the crab faster wins a point until no fish are left. The player who has more fish wins.

This is a guessing game. In this game one person takes a card and has to mime or make the sound of the object in the card. The other players have to guess what is it. The winner is the person who has more cards.

This is a searching game. In this game you have to pick up a card and search the drawing of the card. The winner of the game is the person who picks up the maximum number of cards.

This is a magnetic game. In this game one each person chooses one colour. You have to try to fish the rattles of your colour. The winner is the person who gets together all the rattles of his or her colour

To finish the class some students made paper planes with nice holidays messages.
