El passat 23 d’Abril vam celebrar Saint George’s Day a l’escola. 🐲🌹

Els alumnes de quart van fer una explicació sobre la llegenda i els alumnes de cinquè van representar aquesta llegenda per mitjà de dibuixos i maquetes.

St George’s Day is England’s national day, traditionally the day for flying the flag of St. George and wearing a red rose (their national flower) in the buttonhole.

Legend says that a gentleman named George fought a dragon that frightened the citizens, because every day he asked for a beautiful maiden. Only St. George fought bravely and defeated the dragon. Since then, there have been celebrations recreating that fight.
