Once a week, during 45 minutes, pupils do the morning routines in English to work the foreign language in a very meaningful school context.
Dolphins and Cats, with “Monkey’s” help (our english puppet) and the “Maquinista” of the day:
-Check the list: “Is Àlex here?”, “Yes, I’m here”.
-Count up the number of pupils.
-Say what’s the weather like and sing the weather song.
-Write the date in English.
-Revise numbers and colours by playing: “I pass the dice to (Maria) / Maria, what colour is it?”.
-The “maquinista” say some actions and pupils mime them: “Wash your hands”, “Dance”, “Kick the ball”, “Eat an apple”, etc.
-Sing the “Good morning song” to wish each other a good day.
-Sing the “Good bye boys and girls song”
