Pupils from 4th grade worked on “Special lines”: they revised straight lines position (parallel, intersecting and perpendicular lines) and learnt other types or part of lines:

During this 2nd term the pupils have been exploring around the 3d shapes: names, properties, characteristics…and finally they have been prepared to build their own 3d shapes with coloured mud (red, green and blue): cubes, spheres, cylinders, cones and rectangular prisms.

4th graders made triangles with plastic straws and clips. They had to follow the written directions to make scalene, isosceles and equilateral triangles.

During this term pupils of 2nd grade are learning the main characteristics about the 3d shapes: names, faces, vertices, edges… and above all they are learning by doing, playing and discovering the new concepts as a shared challenge.
