During this term pupils of 2nd grade are learning the main characteristics about the 3d shapes: names, faces, vertices, edges… and above all they are learning by doing, playing and discovering the new concepts as a shared challenge.
Diana, my assistant during some months, created and carried out some sessions of our space where students have been discovering and experimenting with the figures of three dimensions: inside and outside the classroom; with various formats and presentations : paper, cardboard, plasticine, lego, magnets … and ICT resources: Ipads, IWB, laptops…
