5th grades started the 2nd term Art sessions. The new medium for this term is watercolour and its different techniques. We have been working on the following ones: trasnparencies, building up a colour, gradients, wet on wet, wet on dry and layering
After this first sessions we make a “Colour wheel” and the magic of this session was about building up 12 colours from the primary ones: cyan (light blue), yellow and magenta.
We also started paitint first simple projects to practise the techniques worked previously. So they painted leaves and flowers using the wet on dry technique and they painted hearts using the layering technique.
