An unforgettable cultural and sensorial experience!
Last April, the English students at Pau Casals had the opportunity to meet with other English students from another center, CFA Tarragona and it was truly exciting. The connection between both groups of students flowed naturally, thanks to the magic of sweets, coffee, and tea, which served as perfect intermediaries to create a warm and friendly atmosphere.
After sharing sweet and comforting moments, we launched into a fun-filled activity: exchanging stories that could be true or false. The excitement of guessing and listening attentively made the experience even more special! This dynamic not only helped us improve our speaking and listening skills, but also strengthened the bonds and trust between everyone.
We look forward to more activities like this in the future! We are excited to continue sharing enriching and sensorial moments that unite us and make us grow. -A3 Student.
Hello, my name is N, and I am a student at Pau Casals Adult School. I enjoyed the Language Café a lot. The people from outside were very nice. I think our group was the best. P and I had a great time with the nice people, and we drank too much coffee and water with sugar. It was a wonderful experience. The only downside was that we had to leave very early because we had to work. We also shared funny experiences from our childhood and learned a lot from each others’ backgrounds. – N. & P. Events like this remind us of the power of language to connect people, build friendships, and create lasting memories. Through laughter, stories, and shared tastes, we discovered how much we have in common—and how much we can learn from each other. Without a doubt, this Language Café has left us with a sense of joy, curiosity, and the desire to keep exploring language and culture together. Here’s to many more moments like this!
