Avui, a l’aula d’anglès el nostre alumnat del GES ha experimentat una activitat extraordinà ria que ha trasbalsat les seves expectatives. Una experiència mà gica en què una convidada molt especial va prendre el centre de l’escenari: la bruixa Brunilda Washington.
La bruixa Brunilda Washington va entrar a l’aula amb tot el seu encant i es va convertir en la protagonista indiscutible de la nostra sessió d’anglès. Amb el seu barret puntiagut, el seu vestit negre i les seves habilitats mà giques, va captivar immediatament l’atenció del nostre alumnat. La seva presència va ser un recordatori de l’arribada propera d’Halloween, i ens va portar a un viatge per les arrels i les tradicions d’aquesta festivitat popular.
Durant la seva visita, la bruixa Brunilda Washington va compartir amb nosaltres l’origen d’Halloween, les caracterÃstiques de la festa i el seu significat. Amb la seva ajuda, vam aprendre vocabulari bà sic relacionat amb la celebració d’Halloween, com ara “pumpkin” (carabassa), “witch” (bruixa), “costume” (disfressa) i molts altres termes interessants.
No obstant això, la part més emocionant de la nostra activitat va ser quan els nostres alumnes van tenir l’oportunitat d’interactuar amb la bruixa. Van poder fer preguntes a la Brunilda Washington en anglès, demostrant les seves habilitats lingüÃstiques i guanyant confiança en la seva capacitat per comunicar-se en una llengua diferent. La bruixa va respondre a totes les seves preguntes amb paciència i va oferir feed-back positiu per ajudar-los a millorar les seves habilitats comunicatives.
Halloween és una època mà gica, i avui hem après que l’anglès pot ser igual de mà gic si ho fem amb passió i interacció. Grà cies, Bruixa Brunilda Washington!
Today, in our English classroom, our GES students have experienced an extraordinary activity that exceeded their expectations. A magical experience in which a very special guest took center stage: the witch Brunilda Washington.
Witch Brunilda Washington entered the classroom with all her charm and became the undisputed star of our English session. With her pointed hat, black dress, and magical abilities, she immediately captured the attention of our students. Her presence served as a reminder of the upcoming Halloween, taking us on a journey through the roots and traditions of this popular celebration.
During her visit, Witch Brunilda Washington shared with us the origin of Halloween, its characteristics, and its significance. With her help, we learned basic vocabulary related to the celebration of Halloween, such as “pumpkin,” “witch,” “costume,” and many other interesting terms.
However, the most exciting part of our activity was when our students had the opportunity to interact with the witch. They were able to ask Brunilda Washington questions in English, demonstrating their linguistic skills and gaining confidence in their ability to communicate in a different language. The witch patiently answered all their questions and provided positive feedback to help them improve their communication skills.
Halloween is a magical time, and today we learned that English can be just as magical when approached with passion and interaction. Thank you, Witch Brunilda Washington!
