After having a look at Martí’s book El libro de los saludos, which explains different ways to greet each other, we make a list on the whiteboard with all the greetings we know in English.

We look at them one by one to find out what they mean and since we have so many, we look for different ways to group them together. We decide to classify them according to whether they are greetings or farewells and whether they are more formal or more informal.

We also decide to prepare in groups a dialogue related to a different topic: Cinema + Popcorn, Hotel + Supermarket, Checking in at the campsite, Camp Nou entrance. We begin thinking about how we imagine the dialogue, then we write the script, then we prepare the atrezzo and then we practice the staging. When everyone is ready, we present our dialogues to our classmates.
