Once more, our students in CM and\u00a0 CS had the opportunity to attend an English play at the “Escorxador” theatre. This time the play was “Frankenstein” from IPA Productions, a\u00a0 theatre company with more than 20 years of experience. The show was 100% in English and all the actors are natives or native-equivalent speakers of English.<\/p>\n

In order to fully enjoy the play we have been working on it previously at school doing different activities related to parts of the body, functional language asking questions and giving explanations and instructions…, we’ve been playing boardgames and singing the songs too.\u00a0 And the result was obvious, kids have loved it.<\/p>\n

The children enjoyed watching the play and also they had the opportunity of acting on the stage like if they were real actors They did it very well and they all had lots of fun and so did the teachers. “Frankenstein is a doctor of medicine. He has a laboratory where, helped by his assistant, he gives classes of anatomy. He also has a book called\u00a0How to make a monster.<\/i> All he needs are a few pieces of body, a brain and a lot of energy.”<\/p>\n

It has been excellent, we all had a great time and we look forward to seeing a new one next year. Here you can see some pictures from the work done at the class and at the theatre.<\/p>\n

Un any m\u00e9s, els nostres alumnes de CM i\u00a0 CS han tingut l’oportunitat d’assistir a una obra en angl\u00e8s al teatre de l’Escorxador. Aquesta vegada l’obra era “Frankenstein” d’IPA Productions, una companyia de teatre amb m\u00e9s de 20 anys d’experi\u00e8ncia. L’espectacle era 100% en angl\u00e8s i tots els actors eren nadius.<\/p>\n

Per poder gaudir al m\u00e0xim de l’obra l’hem estat treballant pr\u00e8viament a l’escola fent diferents activitats relacionades amb les parts del cos, llenguatge funcional fent preguntes i donant explicacions i instruccions…, tamb\u00e9 hem estat jugant a jocs de taula i cantant les can\u00e7ons. E<\/p>\n

l resultat ha estat obvi, als nens i nenes els ha encantat.<\/p>\n

L’alumnat ha gaudit veient l’obra i tamb\u00e9 han tingut l’oportunitat d’actuar a l’escenari com si fossin aut\u00e8ntics actors. Ho han fet molt b\u00e9 i tots s’han divertit molt.\u00a0 “Frankenstein \u00e9s doctor en medicina. T\u00e9 un laboratori on, ajudat pel seu assistent, imparteix classes d’anatomia. Tamb\u00e9 t\u00e9 un llibre que es diu: c\u00f3m fer un monstre. Tot el que necessita s\u00f3n unes quantes peces de cos, un cervell i molta energia”.<\/p>\n

L’obra ha estat excel\u00b7lent, tots ens ho hem passat molt b\u00e9 i esperem amb moltes ganes tornar-hi l’any vinent.<\/p>\n
