Entre gener i febrer, tot l’alumnat de 3r d’ESO ha llegit el llibre “All about Ireland” per tal de con\u00e8ixer el pa\u00eds, la cultura i les costums. A trav\u00e9s del llibre han treballat la llengua, adquirint nou vocabulari i refor\u00e7ant la gram\u00e0tica treballada; per\u00f2 principalment han apr\u00e8s coses noves que els han sorpr\u00e8s com el “hurling”, un esport que s’assembla al hoquei.<\/p>\n

Tot seguit, han preparat una exposici\u00f3 oral. Havien d’escollir un rac\u00f3 d’Irlanda i buscar-ne informaci\u00f3. Han descrit el lloc, explicat les activitats que es poden fer, a quins restaurants es pot menjar i qu\u00e8, com arribar-hi des de Vilafranca i altres aspectes interessants del lloc.<\/p>\n

Between January and February, all students from 3rd of ESO have read the book “All about Ireland” to get to know the country, the culture and its traditions. Through the book they have worked the language, while learning new vocabulary and reinforcing the grammar; but above all, they have learnt surprising facts such as\u00a0hurling<\/i>, a sport that resembles hockey.<\/p>\n

Afterwards, they prepared an oral presentation. They chose a place in Ireland and searched for information. They described the place, they listed the activities to do there, they explained the restaurants where to eat and what to eat, how to get there from Vilafranca, and other interesting facts of the place.<\/p>\n
