Early in November, the first stage of the BARCELONA-HELSINKI EXCHANGE PROGRAMME took place. Such a programme is intended to provide students with an opportunity to travel to a different country and experience their culture and history, as well as to get to know their education system and to improve their communication in English.<\/p>\n

Thus, 11 Finnish students from the Kulosaari Secondary School were hosted by a group of INS TIANA 4th of ESO pupils from November 7th to November 14th 2018. Many activities were carried out, amongst which the following are highlighted:<\/p>\n

– BARCELONA RACE\u00a0<\/strong>– The students were taken to Barcelona to visit the neighbourhoods of El Raval, El Born and El G\u00f2tic. Additionally, the rain didn\u2019t prevent them from visiting Les Rambles, where students saw La Boqueria, Gran Teatre del Liceu, Pla\u00e7a Sant Jaume, the Town Council of Barcelona and Palau de la Generalitat, the Cathedral of Barcelona and finally Parc de la Ciutadella and Arc de Triomf.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0ANTONI GAUD\u00cd<\/b>\u00a0– Two creations by the Catalan architect Antoni Gaud\u00ed were visited: Parc G\u00fcell and Sagrada Fam\u00edlia.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0MONTSERRAT<\/strong> – The students went on a short hike and after that, they visited the famous temple. The Catalan pupils had organised a cooperative lunch.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
