Last Monday 20th March and Wednesday 22nd March our ESO 1 and 2 students took part in a Global Scholars project in Park G\u00fcell. As part of the Unit 4 work, students have to learn how people live and work in different countries. In order to do so they have to create a digital tour around an important site in their city using real photos and also find out about people’s jobs. Therefore students had a guided tour around Park G\u00fcell, learnt about Gaudi’s architecture thanks to their arts teacher Ferran and had to take photos with their mobile phones and record interviews in English with tourists about their jobs. Some students had not visited Park G\u00fcell before and they loved it. Also they discovered how much interesting it is to meet people from other countries. Our language assistant Mason helped them to prepare the interviews in English. Here you have some photos to see how great the outing was!”<\/p>\n

El passat dilluns dia 20 de mar\u00e7 i dimecres 22 de mar\u00e7 els nostres alumnes de 1r i 2n d’ESO van participar en un projecte Global Scholars en angl\u00e8s al Park G\u00fcell. Com a part de la feina de la unitat 4 els alumnes aprenen sobre com la gent viu i treballa a diferents pa\u00efsos del m\u00f3n. Amb aquesta finalitat, els alumnes han de creat un tour digital de fotos sobre un lloc emblem\u00e0tic de la seva ciutat utilitzant les seves pr\u00f2pies fotografies. Tamb\u00e9 han de descobrir quins oficis t\u00e9 la gent. Per tant els alumnes van fer un tour guiat pel Park G\u00fcell i van aprendre sobre l’arquitectura modernista de Gaud\u00ed amb l’ajuda del seu professor d’art en Ferran. Van haver de fer fotos amb els seus tel\u00e8fons m\u00f2bils i van enregistrar entrevistes que van fer en angl\u00e8s als turistes per esbrinar quins oficis tenen i en qu\u00e8 consisteixen. Alguns alumnes mai havien estat al Park G\u00fcell i els va agradar molt. A m\u00e9s van descobrir un cop m\u00e9s com \u00e9s d’interessant con\u00e8ixer gent d’altres pa\u00efsos. El nostre assistent ling\u00fc\u00edstic nordameric\u00e0 en Mason va ajudar-los a preparar les entrevistes en angl\u00e8s. Aqu\u00ed teniu algunes fotos per veure qu\u00e8 b\u00e9 s’ho van passar!<\/p>\n
