El dilluns celebrarem a l’Institut el Dia del Nombre Pi, el 14 de mar\u00e7 (en notaci\u00f3 anglosaxona 3.14) amb una interessant\u00edssima xerrada de l’Anton Aubanell sobre com\u00a0ha anat evolucionant\u00a0al llarg del temps el nostre calendari. Per\u00f2 pr\u00e8viament ja estem preparant aquesta diada tot treballant aquest nombre amb els alumnes.<\/p>\n

Intentarem acostar-nos a descobrir per a nosaltres mateixos els decimals del nombre Pi amb el mateix m\u00e8tode que el gran matem\u00e0tic grec Arquimedes de Siracusa ho va intentar fa 23 segles.\u00a0 Per a fer-ho estan treballant de forma coordinada tots els cursos de l’Institut utilitzant Origami per obtenir els 8 primers pol\u00edgons regulars i d’ells n’obtindrem successives aproximacions al nombre Pi.<\/p>\n
