Es tracta d&#8217;una nova recurrent, un tipus d&#8217;estrella que experimenta explosions cada 80 anys. L\u2019\u00faltima erupci\u00f3 va ser l\u2019any 1946, i els cient\u00edfics preveuen que la pr\u00f2xima podria produir-se entre mar\u00e7 i abril de 2025. De moment, no s&#8217;ha produ\u00eft aquesta explosi\u00f3, per\u00f2 els cient\u00edfics no han perdut l&#8217;esperan\u00e7a, ja que es preveu que exploti aquest 2025.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Per qu\u00e8 explota T CrB?<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nT CrB forma part d\u2019un sistema binari, compost per una nana blanca i una gegant vermella. La gegant vermella, en el seu proc\u00e9s final de vida, allibera hidrogen, que \u00e9s absorbit per la nana blanca. Quan el material s\u2019acumula i arriba a una temperatura i pressi\u00f3 extremes, es provoca una explosi\u00f3 termonuclear. Aix\u00f2 provoca un augment sobtat de lluminositat, fent que l&#8217;estrella brilli milers de vegades m\u00e9s durant uns dies.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Com i quan es podr\u00e0 observar?<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nEl dia estimat va ser el 27 de mar\u00e7 de 2025, per\u00f2 finalment l&#8217;explosi\u00f3 no es va produir. Quan esclati, T CrB brillar\u00e0 tant com l&#8217;Estrella Polar, sent visible a simple vista. Per trobar-la, cal buscar la constel\u00b7laci\u00f3 de Corona Borealis, que es troba entre les estrelles Vega (de la constel\u00b7laci\u00f3 de Lyra) i Arturo (de Bootes). La millor hora per observar-la ser\u00e0 despr\u00e9s del capvespre.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Un esdeveniment astron\u00f2mic \u00fanic<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nAquest fenomen \u00e9s molt especial, ja que poques noves recurrents tenen explosions previsibles i tan brillants.
