Podria ser l&#8217;ull m\u00e9s gran del m\u00f3n per mirar l&#8217;univers. El seu nom \u00e9s Telescopi extremadament gran, l&#8217;ELT, compost per les sigles en angl\u00e8s, Extremly Large Telescope.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Un telescopi que ser\u00e0 realment gegant, 40 metres de di\u00e0metre, aix\u00f2 significa que ser\u00e0 15 vegades m\u00e9s \u00e0rea col\u00b7lectora que qualsevol telescopi que tenim avui dia. I a m\u00e9s, una capacitat per poder obtenir les imatges m\u00e9s n\u00edtides&#8221;. Aquesta va ser la descripci\u00f3 al programa Europa de TVE, Xavier Barcons, director general de l&#8217;Observatori Europeu Austral (ESO)<\/p>\n<p>El telescopi impulsat per l&#8217;Observatori Europeu Austral est\u00e0 dissenyat per estudiar els misteris de l&#8217;Univers. Segons els experts, el resultat de la seva activitat pot marcar una fita hist\u00f2rica per abordar l&#8217;astronomia moderna: &#8220;Esperem poder obtenir imatges directes de planetes, com la Terra, orbitant estrelles com el Sol, i tamb\u00e9 obtenir imatges de planetes fora del sistema solar per veure si han tingut alguna activitat biol\u00f2gica.<\/p>\n<p>Estar\u00e0 compost per cinc miralls dins del telescopi amb components \u00f2ptics i mec\u00e0nics. &#8220;Les \u00f2ptiques del telescopi, per la mida, el pes i les vibracions, es desalineen i es deformen, A Sener hem desenvolupat els sistemes electromec\u00e0nics per a les cel\u00b7les que mantenen aquestes \u00f2ptiques en la seva forma i posici\u00f3 en qualsevol objectiu&#8221;.
