Educational organization<\/strong><\/h6>\n

Each course is divided into subjects which can be mandatory (done throughout the year) or optional (done in different terms).<\/p>\n

Although education is given in Catalan, students also study Spanish. English is considered the first foreign language, and they can try French during the first year and follow it up until their graduation. German is also an option in the end of the studies.<\/p>\n

In practical subjects such as Technology and Digitalization, Social Sciences, Chemistry or Biology students are sometimes split into two groups to use our computer and technology rooms as well as our labs.<\/p>\n

Innovation is a goal, so we take part in projects based on multilingual education, and carry out active learning experiences which integrate diverse areas of knowledge to develop competences for life and connect with the dynamics and challenges of the local and global context.<\/p>\n

During a week of the first three courses all students do a common project based on the main contents of the different subjects. Some activities are held outside school by most students. In Year 10 students do a research project.<\/p>\n

The school also organises stays in holiday camps; school trips to cities, to the mountains, or abroad;\u00a0 theatre plays, lectures, visits to museums and exhibitions, etc. In addition, students participate in the annual week of conferences and workshops organised by our centre which revolve around a specific topic.<\/p>\n

Our centre believes it is useful to enjoy reading. Therefore, students can choose books whenever they wish in our great library, and some groups work in the school magazine.<\/p>\n

Although there is a compulsory quarterly assessment, the team of teachers (tutors included) meet weekly to coordinate the different tasks and talk about the best guidance to our students.<\/p>\n
