{"id":10247,"date":"2023-07-13T08:41:37","date_gmt":"2023-07-13T06:41:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/agora.xtec.cat\/insjoanmercader\/?p=10247"},"modified":"2023-07-14T07:56:21","modified_gmt":"2023-07-14T05:56:21","slug":"marta-mercade-best-practice-teaching","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/agora.xtec.cat\/insjoanmercader\/nivell\/batxillerat\/marta-mercade-best-practice-teaching\/","title":{"rendered":"Marta Mercad\u00e9: Best Practice Teaching"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>During the school year 2022-2023, The English teacher of our high school <strong>Marta Mercad\u00e9<\/strong> took part in an exchange project with the <strong>Province of Alberta in Canada<\/strong> as part of the Erasmus Programme.\u00a0 The exchange consisted in showing our high school and teaching methodologies to Canadian faculty staff, through the host to the visiting teacher <strong>Ian Wilson<\/strong> who stayed at our high school in March. Then Marta Mercad\u00e9 attended Lacombe Schools in the Province of Alberta to get familiar with the Canadian education system. Both teachers, <strong>Ian and Marta<\/strong>, agreed on the enrichment of their teaching careers and personal background as a result of the exchange project, and <strong>have now been recognised<\/strong> for <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/xtec.cat\/coordinacillengesestrangeresal\/bones-pr%C3%A0ctiques\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">their best practice<\/a> in the implementation of their daily lessons when back in their schools by the Public Instruction Department in Alberta and Catalonia.<\/strong> Congratulations Marta and Ian, and thank you for sharing
