Els alumnes de 3r d’ESO del nostre institut han viscut el dia de Sant Patrici (17 de mar\u00e7), una festa irlandesa que avui se celebra a tot el m\u00f3n. Enguany ho han fet acompanyats de Los Stompers<\/a>, una banda irlandesa establerta a Barcelona que des de les seves arrels folk tradicionals ha evolucionat cap a un so personal al qual han anomenat Barcelona Irish Sound.<\/p>\n

Pr\u00e8viament a la visita del grup, els alumnes havien entrat en contacte amb la hist\u00f2ria, les can\u00e7ons i alguns dels instruments t\u00edpics de la m\u00fasica c\u00e8ltica, com el bodhran, la mandolina o la gaita irlandesa, a trav\u00e9s d’activitats de lectura i una webquest. Els alumnes han ballat seguint les indicacions de Los Stompers, i aix\u00ed han pogut con\u00e8ixer una mica millor la cultura irlandesa.<\/p>\n

Third-year ESO students from our institute have experienced Saint Patrick’s Day (March, 17th), an Irish holiday that nowadays is celebrated all over the world. This year, they have done it accompanied by Los Stompers<\/a>, an Irish folk band based in Barcelona that plays what they call Barcelona Irish Sound.<\/em><\/p>\n

Prior to the group visit, the students had come into contact with the history, the songs, and some of the typical instruments of Celtic music, such as the Bodhran, the Mandolin or the Uilleann pipes, through reading activities and a webquest. The students have danced following the indications of The Stompers and thus have learned a little better about Irish culture.<\/em><\/p>\n
