El refugi va ser excavat gr\u00e0cies al treball de molts ve\u00efns al barri del Poble Sec. Disposa de tres entrades d&#8217;acc\u00e9s i t\u00e9 m\u00e9s de 200 metres de t\u00fanels, amb una al\u00e7ada de 2&#8217;10 metres i una amplada que va entre 1&#8217;5 i 2 metres. El refugi comptava amb diverses estances: lavabos, font, infermeria, sala dels infants i llar de foc, entre altres.
