{"id":5864,"date":"2019-06-25T11:51:06","date_gmt":"2019-06-25T09:51:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/agora.xtec.cat\/insdertosa\/?p=5864"},"modified":"2019-06-25T11:51:06","modified_gmt":"2019-06-25T09:51:06","slug":"un-artista-complert-frederic-mauri-in-memoriam","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/agora.xtec.cat\/insdertosa\/portada\/un-artista-complert-frederic-mauri-in-memoriam\/","title":{"rendered":"Un artista complert, Frederic Mauri, in memoriam"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Si hagu\u00e9ssim de fer una definici\u00f3 r\u00e0pida de la figura d\u2019en Frederic Mauri (Tortosa 1940-2019) ens expressar\u00edem de la seg\u00fcent manera: era un artista molt complert, com queda ben expl\u00edcit per mitj\u00e0 de la seua heterog\u00e8nia faceta com a cartellista, exlibrista, gravador, dibuixant i pintor. La seua p\u00e8rdua ens ha deixat un notable buit at\u00e8s que era una de les grans personalitats de l\u2019art contemporani vora l\u2019Ebre: un dels millors artistes dels que es fan i es desfan, ja que tenim el gust de posar-li un emblem\u00e0tic afegit\u00f3 po\u00e8tic.<\/p>\n<p>Nascut a Tortosa el 1940, si el seu amic l\u2019escriptor Manuel P\u00e9rez Bonfill era un xiquet de la guerra, el podem considerar com a un xiquet de la postguerra. Va cr\u00e9ixer en una ciutat dram\u00e0ticament devastada per les bombes i envoltada de mis\u00e8ria ciutadana, sota un r\u00e8gim extremadament venjatiu i\u00a0 repressor. L\u2019escola franquista li posar al davant les primeres lletres, basades en xenof\u00f2bies ideol\u00f2giques i ideari ultracat\u00f2lic.<\/p>\n<p>Format art\u00edsticament a la Facultat de Belles Arts de Barcelona, la seua traject\u00f2ria professional va lligada estrictament a l\u2019institut de Tortosa, tal com a ell i a tota una generaci\u00f3 d\u2019intel\u00b7lectuals els agradava anomenar. Hi treballava amb la seua companya de vida, Araceli Boix, i va esdevindre tot un emblema de l\u2019institut, en el qual va ser-ne professor de dibuix durant m\u00e9s de tres d\u00e8cades. Represaliat pel r\u00e8gim franquista, va sofrir pres\u00f3 pels seus ideals<\/p>\n<p>Paral\u00b7lelament, va desenvolupar una carrera art\u00edstica molt interessant en els heterogenis \u00e0mbits anteriorment esmentats. Va formar part de Macla 65, un col\u00b7lectiu art\u00edstic que feia un art realista amb vocaci\u00f3 social i popular. Hem\u00a0de destacar molt especialment els seus exlibris, at\u00e8s que ha esdevingut indubtablement un dels grans exlibristes del pa\u00eds. Un dels seus grans admiradors, el seu bon amic Manel Oll\u00e9, va posar tot l\u2019inter\u00e8s en qu\u00e8 veiessin la llum en varis volums d\u2019un llibre que \u00e9s una aut\u00e8ntica joia art\u00edstica. En va dedicar a familiars, amics, artistes, institucions i associacions, sempre amb una generositat grand\u00edssima. Familiarment, ens en va realitzar una d\u2019aquestes marques de propietat llibresca en el qual destacava la cultura del llibre i la torre templera enlla\u00e7ades amb les quatre barres, tot un senyal identificador per a nosaltres.<\/p>\n<p>Seguidament, cal igualment destacar els seus grans dots com a dibuixant i cartellista. Dibuixava amb una gran facilitat i destresa, sorprenia la seua capacitat creativa i l\u2019extremada elaboraci\u00f3 de les seues creacions. Vam poder gaudir d\u2019algunes exposicions extraordin\u00e0ries, com la del 2010 anomenada Anys i treballs, dels amics Manolo i Frederic, i la darrera que va exhibir-se al museu de Tortosa i que unia les figures de Mauri i Jes\u00fas Massip. Novament podem parlar de joies art\u00edstiques de primer nivell.<\/p>\n<p>El Mauri pintor l\u2019hem pogut veure en comptagotes ja que era una persona molt discreta, el qual mai no va tindre gaire inter\u00e8s en la inauguraci\u00f3 d\u2019exposici\u00f3ns. Malgrat tot, compta amb una obra pict\u00f2rica extens\u00edssima i altament valorada pels cr\u00edtics art\u00edstics.<\/p>\n<p>Manel Oll\u00e9 \u00e9s el seu bi\u00f2graf despr\u00e9s de la publicaci\u00f3 de \u201cMauri essencial\u201d, un adjectiu que defineix veritablement la grandesa de la seua obra art\u00edstica. Durant el curs passat vaig tindre el plaer de tutoritzar un treball de recerca en angl\u00e8s, de l\u2019alumna\u00a0 Alina Malik, sobre la seua persona i obra.\u00a0 Era una aportaci\u00f3 estudiantil substancial a la figura d\u2019un dels grans artistes catalans del moment.<\/p>\n<p>Sortosament, en vida ha pogut copsar aquesta estima i admiraci\u00f3 ciutadana. Justament durant els mesos d\u2019abril i maig vam poder veure la llum el llibre biogr\u00e0fic esmentat i la darrera de les seues exposicions. A hores d\u2019ara semblen tot un comiat, per\u00f2 l\u2019obra d\u2019un artista l\u2019immortalitza per sempre m\u00e9s. Ens ha deixat un gran entre els grans de l\u2019art contemporani nostrat!
