Pot cambiar de color ja que ha entrat algo quimic que la fet cambiar de color. La seva duresa es troba entre 3,5 o 4 en l\u2019escala de Mohs (es for\u00e7a fragil)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Usos i\/o aplicacions<\/strong><br \/>\nLa malaquita s&#8217;utilitza per a fabricar joies o elements de decoraci\u00f3. Tamb\u00e9, s&#8217;utilitza per crear pigments.<br \/>\nEs pot fer servir en construcci\u00f3 (roca), en metal\u00b7l\u00fargia (minerals), en joieria (roques i minerals), etc. (m\u00ednim 500 carac.). En l\u2019antiguitat era usada com a colorant, per\u00f2 avui dia el seu \u00fas \u00e9s m\u00e9s aviat com a pedra semipreciosa. Tamb\u00e9 es la fa servir com a mena per a l\u2019extracci\u00f3 de coure.<br \/>\n<strong>Lloc d&#8217;origen (Jaciments m\u00e9s importants)<\/strong><br \/>\nEs troba a la zona oxidada superior dels jaciments de coure. Els jaciments m\u00e9s rellevants en el qual es pot trobar aquest mineral s\u00f3n: Col\u00f2mbia, el Congo, el nord d&#8217;\u00c0frica, R\u00fassia, Hongria i Estats Units.
