Est\u00e0<br \/>\ncompost principalment per \u00f2xid d\u2019alumini (corind\u00f3) barrejat amb altres varietats com:<br \/>\nespineles o magnetita. \u00c9s forma temperatures baixes i sobre tot s\u00f3n productes de desgast<br \/>\nd\u2019altres minerals. Solen ser menys densos i tous que els \u00f2xids. Les caracter\u00edstiques distintives del corind\u00f3 s\u00f3n l\u2019extremada duresa, la densitat i l\u2019aparen\u00e7a cristal\u00b7lina. El color pot ser blau, gris, vermell o groc. Es creu que el nom corind\u00f3 deriva de kaurantaka (nom indi del mineral).<\/p>\n<h6><strong>OBSERVACI\u00d3 AMB LUPA<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00c9s veu unes taques taronges barrejades al color gris de la peca. Est\u00e0 bruta i \u00e9s molt irregular. Alguns fragments de la roca s\u00f3n m\u00e9s consistents que altres. T\u00e9 un to blanquin\u00f3s perqu\u00e8 la llum era de color blanc.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/agora.xtec.cat\/iesm-jmzafra\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu164\/2017\/02\/2017-01-20-10-50-18.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2914\" src=\"http:\/\/agora.xtec.cat\/iesm-jmzafra\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu164\/2017\/02\/2017-01-20-10-50-18-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"2017-01-20-10-50-18\" width=\"214\" height=\"287\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00daS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>S&#8217;utilitza per esmolar les eines de taller i tamb\u00e9 per desbarbar peces petites. Normalment porta fixades en cada extremitat dues moles o dues eines abrasives. L\u2019abrasiu \u00e9s prepara molent esmeril fins aconseguir la pols desitjada. L\u2019esmeril en pols \u00e9s molt dur(nom\u00e9s el diamant el supera en duresa), per tant s\u2019utilitza en el polit de molts tipus de pedra. \u00c9s pot usar tamb\u00e9 com a antilliscant en terres i escales. Un altre \u00fas es el paper de vidre o la llima d\u2019ungles.<\/p>\n<p><strong>LLOC D\u2019ORIGEN<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les primeres mines d\u2019esmeril \u00e9s van trobar a l\u2019illa grega de Naxos. \u00c9s un mineral que apareix en quantitats significatives en Jap\u00f3, Pol\u00f2nia, R\u00fassia, Carolina de Nord, Gr\u00e8cia i majorit\u00e0riament de Turquia. La principal mina de Turquia \u00e9s Seydi\u015fehir, Prov\u00edncia de Konya, Turquia. L\u2019\u00e0rea que ocupa \u00e9s de 38.800 km2, i la poblaci\u00f3 \u00e9s d\u20191,200 milions d\u2019habitants. Konya \u00e9s un a prov\u00edncia turca amb una capital amb el mateix nom, \u00e9s la prov\u00edncia m\u00e9s gran del pa\u00eds.
