Once the students finish their compulsory education they have an Intermediate level of the chosen foreign language, which is English for the vast majority of them.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Official hours of foreign language taught: 3 hours\/week<\/p>\n<p>In our institution we have some strategies to improve English among our students:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 some parts of some subjects are taught in English.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 there is conversation teacher to help with communication skills.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0<br \/>\nThe official compulsory academic curriculum of the Catalan Ministry of Education gives the rules to teach foreign languages in the schooling itinerary of every student.
