Aquest plat en aparen\u00e7a tan senzill \u2014l\u2019aigua on s\u2019han cuit els aliments, sovint amb fideus, arr\u00f2s o pasta\u2014 t\u00e9 un paper important en els nostres costums, i aix\u00ed com els dijous sol ser el dia de la paella en molts establiments de restauraci\u00f3, a les illes Balears i en particular a Menorca s\u2019han convertit en tradici\u00f3 els \u00abdimecres de brou\u00bb.
