IN ENGLISH<\/b><\/p>\n

On May the 23rd, Cristina, a girl from New York came to our school. She told us about the U.K. and the mess with the countries that are in the UK, the flag -which is called the Union Jack- and a little bit about the typical food, the dancings, flowers, etc. and some useful vocabulary.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

First of all she presented herself: where she is from, who she is, \"\"<\/a>where she was born… Then she explained us what her objective was at that time.\u00a0<\/span>Then she started her power point teaching us the U.K flag: the Union Jack and she explained us its origin.\u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span>Then she inserted a slide in which she proposed a game, she gave us a four-letter role: a, b, c and d. The game was that she asked us questions and we had to raise the paper with the letter that we thought was the correct answer. The one who raised the paper faster with the correct letter was getting a pen. The questions were about the facts and traditions of the UK countries. It was so much fun, moreover because we knew some of the answers because we had a pre-culture class with Judit.\u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>It was a very active and productive class, the students were excited and everything went very well .\u00a0 Cristina was very clear and everybody could understand her easily. At the beginning she said that she would speak more or less slowly, as we asked her but it was ok most of the time.\u00a0\"\"<\/a><\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>It was a very different experience and we would love to do it again. Thanks Cristina for this wonderful class!<\/span><\/p>\n

EN CATAL\u00c0<\/b><\/p>\n

El dia 23 de maig, la Cristina, una noia de New York va venir al nostre institut. Ella ens va parlar sobre les Illes Brit\u00e0niques i UK, i les confusions que hi ha amb els pa\u00efsos que en formen part i una mica els costums m\u00e9s importants: els menjar t\u00edpic, balls, flors etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

En primer lloc es va presentar: d\u2019on era, qui era, on va n\u00e9ixer\u2026 Despr\u00e9s ens va explicar quin era el seu objectiu en aquella hora.\u00a0<\/span>Tot seguit, va comen\u00e7ar amb el seu power point ensenyant-nos la bandera de UK: la Union Jack \u00a0i ens en va explicar el seu origen.<\/span><\/p>\n

A continuaci\u00f3, va inserir una diapositiva en la qual ens va \u00a0proposar un joc, ens va donar un paper amb quatre lletres: a, b, c i d. El joc, consistia que\"\" ella et feia preguntes i nosaltres hav\u00edem d\u2019aixecar el paper amb la lletra que creiem que era la corresponent. Qui aixecava m\u00e9s r\u00e0pid el paper amb la lletra correcta s\u2019emportava una bol\u00edgraf. Les preguntes tractaven sobre les costums i tradicions dels pa\u00efsos. Nosaltres ten\u00edem una mica d’avantatge perqu\u00e8 la Judit ja ens havia explicat coses del tema.<\/span><\/p>\n

Va ser una classe molt activa i productiva, els alumnes est\u00e0vem entusiasmats i tot va anar molt b\u00e9. A la Cristina, des de bon principi, la vam entendre molt b\u00e9. Ens va dir que parlaria m\u00e9s o menys r\u00e0pid o lent segons nosaltres li deman\u00e9ssim.\u00a0<\/span>Va ser una experi\u00e8ncia molt diferent i ens encantaria tornar-la a fer. Moltes gr\u00e0cies Cristina per aquesta classe tan fant\u00e0stica!<\/span><\/p>\n
