Last month we welcomed a new member to our team. Fiona Bennett is an English graduate from Chesterfield that will be working as an\u00a0Auxiliar de Conversa\u00a0with our students during this school year 23-24.\u00a0 The main goal of this project, funded by the Ministry of Education, is to help students boost their confidence, improve their pronunciation when speaking in English, support the English teachers, and offer a native perspective on the topics taught in the classroom.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m really excited for the opportunity and I\u2019m looking forward to working with the students sharing my culture and helping them improve their English\u201d said Fiona.<\/p>\n

El mes passat vam rebre a un nou membre del nostre equip. La Fiona Bennett \u00e9s una llicenciada de Chesterfield, Anglaterra, que estar\u00e0 treballant amb els nostres estudiants durant aquest curs 23-24 com a auxiliar de conversa. L’objectiu d’aquest projecte, finan\u00e7at pel Ministeri d’Educaci\u00f3, \u00e9s ajudar als i les estudiants a estimular la seva confian\u00e7a i millorar la seva pronunciaci\u00f3 quan parlin angl\u00e8s, donar suport a les professores de llengua estrangera i oferir un punt de vista nadiu als continguts que es treballin a l’aula.<\/p>\n

“Estic molt emocionada per aquesta oportunitat i tinc moltes ganes de treballar amb l’alumnat compartint la meva cultura i ajudant-los a millorar el seu angl\u00e8s”, ens ha dit la Fiona.<\/p>\n
