Our secondary school offers a space on friday’s afternoon in which specialists on different subjects can show to our students their expertise. During this first term, a variety of topics have been covered: folkloric dances, donating blood, Alcarràs politician life, etc.
On Friday 6th October, our 1st ESO students attended a conference about UK cultural elements. The speaker, Danny, was invited to our school thanks to Burlington English Publishing House. Students had a great time participating in a contest in which they learnt elements of United Kingdom culture. They became well-versed in the English Monarchy, typical food, their flag and its history. What a journey!
