El passat dijous, dia\u00a0 15 de novembre, ens va visitar l’Adriana Galv\u00e1n, PhD, professora de psicologia a la Universitat de Calif\u00f2rnia, Los Angeles (UCLA).<\/p>\n

El consolat dels Estats Units a Barcelona ens va oferir la possibilitat d’escoltar Galv\u00e1n en una xerrada als alumnes de 1r de batxillerat sobre el desenvolupament i les caracter\u00edstiques del cervell en l’adolescent, des del punt de vista de la neurobiologia.<\/p>\n

La doctora Galv\u00e1n es troba en aquests moments treballant a Barcelona dins del marc de cooperaci\u00f3 Fulbright<\/em> entre els governs dels Estats Units i d’Espanya fent recerca sobre el mateix tema de la confer\u00e8ncia,\u00a0The Mystery of the Teenage Brain<\/i>.<\/a><\/p>\n

L’exposici\u00f3, totalment en angl\u00e8s, ha tingut molt bona acollida entre els alumnes participants, els quals han tingut la possibilitat de preguntar sobre com diferents aspectes: l’estudi, la m\u00fasica,\u00a0 les drogues, l’amor… afecten el desenvolupament del cervell.<\/p>\n
