The students of “chemistry in the kitchen” we had a little trip to Collserola hill.
The trip was about the “teabags project”, an international project that is investigating the effects of the climate on the organic matter breakdown around the world.
We went up to Collserola and we chose a plot of pine and oaks facing south. We delimited the plot and we planted 12 teabags, 6 with fertilizer and 6 without it.
Now we have to wait 90 days and pick them up. Then we will submit to the website of the project our results to participate in this world experiment.
