{"id":718,"date":"2016-10-30T08:59:11","date_gmt":"2016-10-30T07:59:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/agora.xtec.cat\/iestossa\/?p=718"},"modified":"2016-11-04T10:49:27","modified_gmt":"2016-11-04T09:49:27","slug":"beques-fundacio-riera-gubau","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/agora.xtec.cat\/iestossa\/batxillerat\/beques-fundacio-riera-gubau\/","title":{"rendered":"Beques Fundaci\u00f3 Riera Gubau"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La Fundaci\u00f3 Riera i Gubau de Santa Coloma de Farners va adjudicar les beques de la modalitat \u201cA\u201d per a estades d\u2019estiu a l\u2019estranger als alumnes Anna Ferr\u00e9, de 2on de Batxillerat, i Joan Le\u00f3n, de 1er de Batxillerat en el curs actual.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Anna Ferr\u00e9 va gaudir d\u2019un curs d\u2019angl\u00e8s d\u2019un mes a Dubl\u00edn (Irlanda) i Joan Le\u00f3n va ser el beneficiari d\u2019un curs d\u2019angl\u00e8s de 15 dies a Thurles (Irlanda). Aquell avi\u00f3 el compartia amb molta gent nova, gent de la qual es va fer imprescindible per mi en aquell viatge.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Vam aterrar a l\u2019aeroport de Cork, all\u00e0 ja es notaven els nervis per saber amb quina fam\u00edlia passaria aquelles dos setmanes, m\u00e9s tard, arrib\u00e0rem a Thurles. No era una ciutat molt gran, m\u00e9s ben dit petita, acollidora i sobretot molt acolorida. Quan vam arribar al estadi municipal de <em>hurling<\/em>, ens van presentar les nostres respectives fam\u00edlies. All\u00e0 m\u2019esperava una dona al voltant dels seixanta anys, la Brenda, molt simp\u00e0tica i amable. A continuaci\u00f3 em va ensenyar la seva casa i em va presentar el seu fill petit, en Tom d\u2019uns 21 anys, fan\u00e0tic del <em>hurling.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Els dos primers dies van ser una miqueta extranys, ja que la cultura irlandesa \u00e9s molt diferent que la catalana. Tots els \u00e0pats eren acompanyats d\u2019un bon got de llet, sense importar la hora que fos! I el sopar era molt tard cap al voltant de les cinc i mitja de la tarda!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La primera setmana va passar literalment volant. Cada dia pel mat\u00ed an\u00e0vem al \u201cSourth\u201d una local semblant a un casal de joves, on ens van ensenyar a interpretar i a fer <em>grafiti<\/em>. Sort\u00edrem a les tres de la tarda i marx\u00e0vem r\u00e0pid a sopar a casa. Per les tardes f\u00e8iem moltes activitats diferents: vam anar dos dies al cinema, a un local de ball i\u00a0fins i tot vam llogar un local per les altres tardes que veiem acabar en un parc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El primer dissabte vam fer un viatge a Dubl\u00edn. En aquet viatge vam visitar totes les parts m\u00e9s importants d\u2019aquesta bonica i gran ciutat, comen\u00e7ant per el museu nacional fins al gran parc de la ciutat irlandesa (Saint Stephen\u2019s Green).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El segon cap de setmana vam anar a visitar la segona ciutat m\u00e9s important de Irlanda, Cork. Va ser un viatge curt per\u00f2 intens, ja que vam compartir tren amb els aficionats locals del \u201cTipperary\u201d que jugaven la final de <em>hurling<\/em>. Pel que fa la ciutat, era molt acollidora i m\u00e9s tranquil\u00b7la que Dubl\u00edn, cosa que fes que hi hagu\u00e9s m\u00e9s pau i no tants turistes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La segona setmana, vam compartir amb altres nens irlandesos ( com en la primera)\u00a0 l\u2019estudi de la fauna i flora d\u2019aquet pa\u00eds, mentre que per les tardes les pass\u00e0vem tots junts al parc o fent diferents activitats. Per despedir-nos tots, vam anar a sopar al \u201cSuperstop\u201d, all\u00e0 va ser la hora de dir-nos ad\u00e9u i ens vam regalar unes banderes firmades per tots. Hores despr\u00e9s, vam separar els nostres camins units no nom\u00e9s per dos setmanes, sin\u00f3 que per sempre.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En aquest viatge he conegut molta gent molt important per tota la vida, a m\u00e9s a m\u00e9s, m\u2019ha ajudat a veure que el m\u00f3n es molt m\u00e9s gran del que pensem i que encara que no ho pensem, som capa\u00e7os de fer tot el que ens proposem.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Back on 3<sup>rd<\/sup> July, I\u00a0was very lucky to live one of the best experiences of my life. This experience was as follows: I got up very early and I took a plane heading to Thurles, Ireland. In that plane, there were many new people, people who became indispensable for me in this journey.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>We landed at Cork airport. I felt nervous to see the families with whom I was about to spend two weeks. Later, we arrived at Thurles. It was not a very big city. It was rather small, cozy and especially colorful. Once in the Hurling stadium, we introduced ourselves to our respective families. There was a woman waiting for me, Brenda, very nice and friendly. Then she showed me her house and she introduced me to her son Tom who was about 21 years and a Hurling fan.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>The first two days were a little strange, since the Irish culture is very different from the Catalan one. All meals were accompanied by a good glass of milk, regardless the time it was! And the dinner was no later than around half past five in the afternoon!<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>The first week passed literally flying. Every day in the morning we went to the &#8220;Sourth&#8221; which is similar to a local youth center, where we were taught to interpret graffiti. We finished at three in the afternoon and would leave fast to be on time for dinner at home. In the afternoons, we did many different activities: we went to the movies two days at a local dance center and we rent the premises for other evenings because otherwise we would always ended up in a park.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>On Saturday we made a trip to Dublin. In this trip we visited all the most important parts of this beautiful city, starting from the National Museum to the great Irish park. We also visited the second largest city in Ireland, Cork. It was a short trip but an intense one, as we shared the local train with enthusiasts &#8220;Tipperary&#8221; who played in the hurling final. As for the city, it was very cozy and quieter than Dublin, which make it more peaceful and, thus, with less tourists.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>In the second week, we studied the fauna and flora of Ireland together with some Irish teenagers. We spent the evenings together in the park or doing different activities somewhere else.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>To say goodbye to each other, we went to have dinner at &#8220;Superstop&#8221;. They gave us a flag signed by all. Hours later, we separated our paths. In this trip, I met a lot of people who are very important for me now. Moreover, it made me realize that the world is much bigger than we think and, believe it or not, we can do everything we set our minds to.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/em>(Joan L.)<em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;El passat mes de Juliol 5 estudiants de la comarca de la Selva vam anar, juntament amb uns altres 20 estudiants del pa\u00eds, a Irlanda. All\u00e0 ens vam trobar\u00a0 amb estudiants d\u2019altres pa\u00efsos com It\u00e0lia, Turquia, Corea&#8230;i\u00a0 junts vam comen\u00e7ar la nostra estada d\u2019estiu. Els matins els dedic\u00e0vem a fer classes d\u2019angl\u00e8s i les tardes a diferents activitats i excursions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El primer dia vam fer un test de nivell i ens vam repartir en grups. Amb aquests grups, on hi havia estudiants de diferents nacionalitats, f\u00e8iem classes de gram\u00e0tica i de cultura irlandesa. Despr\u00e9s de dinar a la cantina de la residencia,\u00a0 venien les activitats de tarda. Alguns dies ens qued\u00e0vem al campus i all\u00e0 realitz\u00e0vem diferents activitats com jocs, esports, dibuix, dansa irlandesa&#8230; I dos cops a la setmana visit\u00e0vem espais famosos de Dubl\u00edn com la GPO, Jeanie Johnston,TempleBar&#8230;<br \/>\nQuan no est\u00e0vem a la residencia els alumnes que ens allotj\u00e0vem amb fam\u00edlies d\u2019acollida ten\u00edem temps lliure per estar amb la nostra fam\u00edlia i practicar l\u2019idioma. Els diumenges, en canvi, realitz\u00e0vem excursions de dia sencer a altres llocs d\u2019inter\u00e8s com Galway o el Zoo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Aquest mes a Dubl\u00edn m\u2019ha ajudat a millorar el meu nivell d\u2019angl\u00e8s i a agafar m\u00e9s confian\u00e7a a l\u2019hora de parlar-lo. A m\u00e9s he apr\u00e8s molt sobre la cultura irlandesa i els seus costums. En general ha sigut una experi\u00e8ncia molt bona i molt enriquidora que recomano a tothom, tot i que personalment trobo que dos o tres setmanes \u00e9s una\u00a0 durada m\u00e9s adient per als joves que no pas un mes.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Last July, 5 students from the region of la Selva went, with 20 other Spanish students, to Ireland. There we do different activities with some Italian, Turk and Korean students.\u00a0 We spent the morning doing English classes and the afternoon doing different activities.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>The first day we did a test level and we split into groups. These groups, which had students from different nationalities, did grammar classes and Irish culture. After having lunch in the residence canteen we did the afternoon activities. Some days we stayed on campus and effected activities such as games, sports, drawing, Irish dance&#8230; and twice a week we visited famous places in Dublin like the GPO, Jeanie Johnston, Temple Bar&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>When we finished activities we had free time, the students who were staying with host families could spent time with them to practice and improve our English. On Sundays we did full day trips to other attractions like the Zoo or Galway.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>This month in Dublin has helped me to improve my English skills and to take more confidence to speak it. I also learned a lot about Irish culture and their customs. In general it has been a very good experience and very rewarding; for this reason I recommend it to everyone.
