Per celebrar el centenari del seu naixement, aquesta presentaci\u00f3 ha proporcionat\u00a0una introducci\u00f3 accessible a les seves contribucions cient\u00edfiques m\u00e9s importants. Algunes de les experi\u00e8ncies formatives de Feynman es van produir durant la Segona Guerra Mundial, quan es va convertir en el l\u00edder del grup m\u00e9s jove del laboratori Los Alamos, la seu central m\u00e9s gran del vast Manhattan Project. Fam\u00f3s pel seu atractiu estil de confer\u00e8ncia, Feynman tamb\u00e9 es va convertir en un reconegut autor de llibres de text i escriptor popular, compartint les seves idees sobre alguns dels misteris m\u00e9s profunds de la naturalesa amb generacions de cient\u00edfics i no cient\u00edfics.<\/p>\n<p>El conferenciant, David Kaiser,\u00a0\u00e9s Professor d&#8217;Hist\u00f2ria de la Ci\u00e8ncia i Professor de F\u00edsica de l&#8217;Institut de Tecnologia de Massachusetts. \u00a0Coordina un grup d&#8217;investigaci\u00f3 en cosmologia de l&#8217;univers primerenc al Centre de F\u00edsica Te\u00f2rica del MIT i tamb\u00e9 ajuda a dirigir una col\u00b7laboraci\u00f3 internacional que realitza nous experiments per explorar els fonaments de la teoria qu\u00e0ntica. Ha rebut els m\u00e0xims premis del MIT per l&#8217;excel\u00b7l\u00e8ncia en l&#8217;ensenyament.
