Els alumnes de 2n d\u2019ESO han tingut l\u2019oportunitat d\u2019entrevistar la Julie Bol, la nostra auxiliar de conversa. La Julie \u00e9s de Seattle i va arribar al centre el 21 de gener. Estar\u00e0 amb nosaltres fins a final de curs. Aquesta \u00e9s una mostra de les preguntes que li han fet els alumnes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Why did you decide to come to Spain?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I came to Spain because I wanted to experience another culture. I had lived in the same place my whole life and I wanted something new and different.<\/p>\n

How did you feel when you arrived in Barcelona?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I was really scared. I\u2019d never lived away from home before, so I was very nervous.<\/p>\n

Do you like this high school?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I do like this high school, the students are very nice.<\/p>\n

What do you enjoy about working with teenagers?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I enjoy remembering what I was like when I was a teenager. A lot of memories come back. I also like to talk to teenagers and help them to understand their emotions.<\/p>\n

How many languages do you speak?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Only English fluently, and I speak a little Spanish, a little French, a little Catalan and a little Korean.<\/p>\n

Do you think American people like to learn languages?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Some American people do but overall Americans don\u2019t want to learn other languages. They know English and this is enough for them. They are happy speaking only English.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your favourite animal?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I really like orca whales. They are black and white and they are from where I live.<\/p>\n

What healthy habits do you have during the week?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Healthy habits I do during the week include going for long walks and eating less chocolate.<\/p>\n

What was your first job?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My first job was at a video store.<\/p>\n

Where do you want to work in the future?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t know where I want to work in the future. Possibly as a teacher somewhere.<\/p>\n

What did you like doing when you were a teenager?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Julie: I enjoyed hanging out with my friends and listening to music.<\/p>\n

What do you like the most in Osona?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I like the history here, being able to walk around and see such old buildings and the history behind them. Back home we don\u2019t\u00a0 have very old buildings.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your favorite city in Spain?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My favorite city in Spain so far is probably Barcelona.<\/p>\n

What country would you like to visit in the future?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I would really like to visit Russia although it would be difficult.<\/p>\n

What are your thoughts on what\u2019s happening in Ukraine right now?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I think it\u2019s really sad, and it scares me a little because Russia has nuclear weapons, but I\u2019m happy that at least the US has a sane president right now. He\u2019s decent.<\/p>\n

Did you use to like school?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I did, I liked school more as I got older.<\/p>\n

Have you ever won a trophy?<\/strong><\/p>\n

When I played baseball, when I was young, I won the happiest player award. My coach said that every time I ran the bases I had the biggest smile on my face!<\/p>\n

Who was your idol when you were a kid?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Oh! When I was a kid\u2026that\u2019s a good question. I think it was one of my teachers. I really liked one of my teachers. Her name was Mrs Forbes.<\/p>\n

In your free time, what do you like to do?<\/strong><\/p>\n

In my free time I like to go for long walks. I also like to read, watch TV and talk to friends.<\/p>\n

What do you like the most about yourself?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Julie: I think I like my curiosity and my compassion, so I feel a lot for others and I want to constantly learn.<\/p>\n

Where would you like to travel when you\u2019re older?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I would like to travel to South Korea.<\/p>\n

When you go back to Seattle, what will be the first thing that you will do?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Julie: I think the first thing I\u2019ll do is eat at my favourite restaurant. I love Thai food, spicy food, and so I plan to do that.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
