During an hour, each member of its class learned the use of one of the different percussion instruments typical in Brazilian batucada, making for an excellent first contact with the world of percussion. They were instructed to follow simple but engaging rhythms, ensuring that everyone actively participates in the<br \/>workshop. The activity combined musical coordination with English language learning, as instructions were given in English.
