On Thursday, our Erasmus group visited the Neuengamme concentration camp. We were able to enjoy a guided tour of the camp, during which we saw how the prisoners survived and the facilities they lived in. It was an incredible and moving experience that we will never forget. We spent the rest of the day in Hamburg, and even though the weather wasn\u2019t on our side, we were able to enjoy a wonderful afternoon at the shopping mall.<\/p>\n

On Friday we visited Kiel, a portuary city which also has nice beaches where we could go by boat. We got the chance to watch West Side Story at the Opernhaus Kiel, the actors did an amazing job dancing, singing and performing!<\/p>\n

The Gemeinschaftsschule Neumunster-Brachenfield has an amazing kitchen for students and on our last day in Germany we cooked and ate together before departing for Blanes. It was an emotional farewell party, so there were hugs, some nice words and some tears too. <\/p>\n
