La ciutat es va al\u00e7ar damunt d&#8217;un petit tur\u00f3 de 15 metres sobre el nivell del mar, anomenat durant l&#8217;Edat Mitjana mont T\u00e0ber. Es trobava enmig de la plana situada entre el Llobregat i el Bes\u00f2s, i entre la serra de Collserola i el mar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Vam con\u00e8ixer diverses restes arqueol\u00f2giques de la ciutat romana.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>El\u00a0<strong>f\u00f2rum<\/strong> de B\u00e0rcino, que abra\u00e7ava un ampli espai situat aproximadament entre els carrers de la Llibreteria, de la Pietat, de Sant Dom\u00e8nec del Call i de la Freneria, incloent l&#8217;actual palau de la Generalitat. All\u00e0 s&#8221;hi al\u00e7ava un gran\u00a0<strong>temple<\/strong>, constru\u00eft a l&#8217;\u00faltim quart del s. Encara \u00e9s possible veure-ho\u00a0a la <strong>necr\u00f2polis<\/strong> de la pla\u00e7a de la Vila de Madrid, que conserva 85 elements funeraris, sobretot dels segles II al III.
