Es tracta del projecte Gas Monkey, que consisteix en aplicar tots els coneixements curriculars que ha d&#8217;aprendre un alumne de 3r d&#8217;ESO a la restauraci\u00f3 de motocicletes. Ara mateix, 14 estudiants participen en aquest projecte educatiu, que segons els seus impulsors, ha aconseguit reduir un 80 per cent la conflictivitat a l&#8217;aula.<strong>\u00a0&#8220;Hi ha alumnes que tenen certa dificultat per seguir la t\u00edpica classe magistral. El que volem \u00e9s donar cabuda a aquestes dificultats perqu\u00e8 puguin assimilar les mateixes compet\u00e8ncies que els altres&#8221;,\u00a0<\/strong>apunta Norbert Riquelme, docent del Ribot i Serra.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El projecte Gas Monkey, impulsat pel professor Joan Pastor, d\u00f3na tota la responsabilitat als alumnes, que en assemblea escullen quin \u00e9s el projecte de rehabilitaci\u00f3 de les motocicletes que volen portar a terme i com volen fer-lo. D&#8217;aquesta manera, els estudiants es motiven amb una tasca que els agrada mentre aprenen els coneixements que els pertoca per curs.\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Ells tenen un blog on cada setmana escriuen i treballen la compet\u00e8ncia ling\u00fc\u00edstica. Amb el disseny de motos, tamb\u00e9 treballes la part visual i pl\u00e0stica. El que va ser m\u00e9s dif\u00edcil, va ser encaixar-hi la resta de coneixements&#8221;<\/strong>, ha explicat Pastor.\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Hem apr\u00e8s moltes coses, com matem\u00e0tiques o ci\u00e8ncia. Hem apr\u00e8s moltes coses que a classe no apren\u00edem&#8221;<\/strong>, assenyala David Fara, un dels participants del programa.\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Vas m\u00e9s motivat a l&#8217;institut. Saps que no vas a copiar tot el dia, sin\u00f3 a fer treballs manuals amb les motos&#8221;<\/strong>, confirma Jes\u00fas Chim\u00e9nez, un dels estudiants.
