Amb l\u2019arribada del desembre, a tots ens ve al cap el Nadal: Torrons, Nadales, Vacances,… i el Calendari d\u2019Advent.<\/p>\n

Aquest curs, el departament de matem\u00e0tiques de l\u2019Institut Rafael Campalans i amb la gran ajuda de la coordinadora del GEP (Generaci\u00f3 Pluriling\u00fce) , vol obsequiar a l\u2019alumnat, professorat, fam\u00edlies i tothom que ens vulgui venir a veure amb un Calendari d\u2019Advent Matem\u00e0tic, on cada dia destaparem un problema diferent per a que dediquem uns instant a pensar-hi.<\/p>\n

Aquests problemes han estat confeccionat dins del Programa NRich, de la Facultat de Matem\u00e0tiques de la prestigiosa Universitat de Cambridge, on aquest projecte pret\u00e9n enriquir les experi\u00e8ncies matem\u00e0tiques de l\u2019alumnat i del professorat.<\/p>\n

\u00c9s per aquest motiu, i en un exemple m\u00e9s que a l\u2019Institut Rafael Campalans creiem que l\u2019angl\u00e8s ha de sortir de les seves hores de doc\u00e8ncia i enriquir les altres mat\u00e8ries, hem posat tots els enunciats en catal\u00e0 i angl\u00e8s, per fer m\u00e9s rica aquesta activitat.<\/p>\n

Com a tall d\u2019exemple, us posem el primer problema que ja disposeu al nostre calendari:<\/p>\n

Esperem que els instants que hi dediqueu a aquesta activitat us facin pensar amb l\u2019alegria que ens porta en Nadal.<\/p>\n

When December is around the corner, Christmas is in our minds: nougats, wafers, Christmas carols, holidays\u2026 . And, of course, the Advent calendar!<\/p>\n

This year, the Mathematics Department, together with GEP coordination,\u00a0 is ready to offer students, teachers, families, and everybody who may be interested, to visit the Mathematics Advent Calendar. Everyday we will reveal a maths challenge to think about.<\/p>\n

These challenges have been made within the NRich Programme, from the well-known and prestigious Cambridge University. This programme is intended to enrich students\u2019 and teachers’ mathematics experiences.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s the reason why, and following the essence of our school when promoting the use of English outside the English classroom to enrich other subjects, that we have used all the formulations both in Catalan and English, so that the activity is much more engaging.<\/p>\n

As an example, this is the first challenge that is already available in our calendar:<\/p>\n
