On the 17th of March, our ESO students carried out a digital breakout (that is a digital escape room) to celebrate St Patrick’s day. The activity centred around Ireland, its symbols and traditions, and consisted of several challenges, which ranged from reading or listening tasks to different kinds of puzzles. By solving a challenge, our students – either individually or in pairs – were able to obtain a code, which they used to move forward towards the objective of the activity, which was to unlock a digital lock. The first person or team to do so in each class got a prize, an English Day – themed bottle. Congrats to all the winners!<\/p>\n
El dia 17 de mar\u00e7, els alumnes d’ESO van dur a terme un escape room digital per celebrar el dia de St Patrick. L’activitat girava al voltant d’Irlanda, els seus s\u00edmbols i tradicions, i constava de diversos desafiaments, des d’activitats de comprensi\u00f3 escrita o oral fins a diferents tipus de puzles. En resoldre un desafiament, els alumnes – b\u00e9 individualment o en parelles – obtenien un codi, que feien servir per avan\u00e7ar cap a l’objectiu de l’activitat, que era obrir un candau digital. La primera persona o equip a fer-ho a cada classe guanyava un premi, una cantimplora de l’English Day. Felicitats a tots els guanyadors!<\/p>\n
